Cat6a Ethernet Cables

Cat6a ethernet cables are an upgraded version of Cat6 ethernet cables, designed to support higher data transmission speeds and reduce crosstalk and interference. The “a” in Cat6a stands for “augmented.” Compared to Cat6 cables, Cat6a network cables have larger conductors and thicker outer insulation sheaths, which help to further reduce interference and crosstalk. This allows them to support data transmission speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second (Gbps) at distances of up to 100 meters, which is twice the distance of Cat6 cables.

Cat6a ethernet cables also have better insulation and shielding to help reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). This makes them a good choice for environments where there are high levels of EMI or RFI, such as in healthcare facilities or industrial environments.
