Description
This smoke alarm cable is typically made with solid or stranded copper conductors and is covered by an outer jacket and an additional layer of shielding to protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). The additional shielding layer of the smoke alarm cable is typically made of a metallic material, such as copper, and is designed to prevent EMI and RFI from interfering with the signals transmitted by the cable. In systems with a lot of cable lines and electronic equipment, shielded fire alarm cables will offer you a better signal without interference.
FPLR [riser rated, non-plenum] and FPLP [plenum rated].
