Description
Cat5e LAN cable is a standard network cable that is used for ethernet networking. It consists of four pairs of twisted copper wires, each with a maximum bandwidth of 100 MHz. The twisting of the wires helps to reduce interference and crosstalk between adjacent wires, which can degrade signal quality.
Cat5e UTP standard network cables can support ethernet speeds of up to 1 Gbps (gigabit per second) at distances of up to 100 meters. They are commonly used for home and small office networks, as well as for larger enterprise networks.
