Cable Selection

Using Cat5e or Cat6 cables instead of Cat6A or Cat7: Cat6A and Cat7 cables are designed for gigabit speeds and offer superior performance over older cables.

Selecting cables with inadequate shielding: Shielding protects cables from electromagnetic interference, which can cause performance issues. Choose cables with appropriate shielding for the environment.
